Try to keep the images that are used in your website 10-12kb per images. Huge images are a primary cause of slow pages. They take a time in opening. The users, who haven’t broadband, will face troubles to access your webpage. Graphics should be match with content. There have been many studies that show that flashing graphics are distracting and annoying to people. Simplicity in graphics can also have the ability to attract the users.

The Back Button is one of the most important Web buttons on any Web page, and yet most Web designers don't think of it when they are building their pages. In fact, it's very common to see "back to home" or "back to start" or just "back" links built into the pages that they are designing. But unless these links have built in logic that knows exactly where the customer was before they clicked (like the browser back button does), then these links are just guess at the path that the customer took through your site.
